In the late 1970s, Grandma Martha started a family newsletter. She would start the newletter and mail (snail mail) it to the first person (Marty), he would write a letter, add it to the envelope, and mail it to the next person (Rick), and so on and so on. There were six families. When Mom got the letter again, she would remove hers and add another. By the time you got the letter, it could be 3 months old. So, eventually, about a year later, the family newsletter was dropped.
Then in July 2000, Wendy suggested we start a newsletter again because now most people were getting email. Janet gave it the name "Lingo." Wendy was the Editor, and our first Lindgren Lingo was born. In 2004 the baton was passed to Jennifer as Editor. With this March 2008 Edition, we can proudly say we have a blog -- thanks to Angela, the creator.
