Hi Family, Just a few updates since our last letter:

First: Sorry to say.... no new news about the building of our house. When they start digging a hole, I'll be shouting it from the roof tops and you'll be sure to know!

In March, Casey had a roll in our ward's roadshow. Our stake's theme was Disney, and they did a spoof of Freaky Friday. Casey did a great job as a teenager trying to ward off the advances of an older lady in our ward who was actually supposed to just be another teenager (make sense?) Casey's also been a legal driver for the last couple of months, which has been really nice for us not to have to get up at seven in the morning to take him to school. Lacrosse season finished this week, and he is happy to announce that he is now braces free!

Mitch participated in the 5th grade's Parade of States at Canyon View Elementary. His state was Kansas, and John helped him build a pretty cool float with a tornado and everything. Mitch's "Hero" essay was chosen to be read during the 5th grade's Hero assembly. His hero was his Uncle John Lindgren who also happens to be his scout leader right now. He was there for the assembly, along with Sharron, myself, Mom, and Jennifer and Steve who happened to be in town that day. Mitch also received his First Class rank in scouting this month.

Alyssa's doing great and reading really well (despite her slacker parents), and is getting ready for her dance recital "Beauty and the Beast" next month at Kingsbury Hall. When Jenn and Steve were here last week, we met her at the 1st grade's Mother's Day picnic at school, and had lunch with her on lawn. It turned out to be a nice sunny day.

Travis turned five years old in April, and we celebrated by taking him and a couple of his friends to Classic Skating. He scootered around the rink and played on all of the inflatable slides and play areas. He had chocolate cake, and enjoyed his new dinosaurs and cars.

I celebrated my birthday at Market Street Grill with John and Jennifer and Steve. It has become my own birthday tradition to treat myself there once a year. It was delicious. (Also had a fun visit with Heidie and kids that afternoon).

Happy Mother's Day to all of the women in our family. Hope your day was great. I loved how my kids went out and picked me a bouquet of dandelions, cherry blossoms, and some other random wild flowers growing by the canal. It made my day!

Looking forward to seeing all of you at the reunion, get a hold of Priscilla if you want to go, it's not too late!!
