Hi family,
Well the Music Man is here: performances are March 15-17 and 22-24 at the Snowflake High School Auditorium. I can’t wait to see it. Bryan has been very busy at rehearsals. He has also joined the high school golf team. He looks pretty sharp in the shirt they gave him to wear. Hyrum was inducted into the National Honor Society this week. He has been running the 1 and 2 mile runs in track. He also wore me out watching him test for his orange belt in Tang San Do. Isaiah has been playing some basketball and really enjoys riding his bike to cub scouts. Because of a change in the usual schedule he had the opportunity to participate in one more pinewood derby. His car was “scripture power.” Riley is doing well academically in school. He is very proud now of his record 7 green lights in a row for good behavior at school. He also lost his second tooth today. I hope the tooth fairy remembers.
Jim is embarking on his 4th career as he is student teaching 8th grade social studies at the junior high. He is High Priest Group assistant leader. He stays involved in Scouting in the ward and District levels. He went skiing yesterday with our Varsity Crew (Bryan) during Scout Week at Sunrise.
I’m enjoying my job and stake primary calling. Krista is single again. She has been toying with the idea of buying a house. James is filling his foreign language requirement at ASU this year by taking Japanese and may be joining a student trip there in June.
I’m not the on the ball photographer I used to be, but here is one of Hyrum. The girl is Emily Evans. She is his competition in class ranking. Hyrum wants to make it clear, she is not his girlfriend. He does not have a girlfriend. Then he’ll say, Bryan has all the girlfriends. Hyrum says he is never getting married. He does say he and Emily are “buds” and she’s his best friend. Because she is so smart, Hyrum has her tutor him.
