Dear Family,
We are going to be grandparents again! Grandbaby #3 is due in August and we are thrilled!
Not much happens in the winter months here in Idaho. Although the last few days have been in the 60s! This morning we transplanted four evergreens that had been sitting in pots for the last 1 – 3 years. And this afternoon has turned windy with showers.
I enjoyed going to Nathan and Kristen’s Cantus concert – excellent community choir with participants from all of the schools, and Kristen’s Shakespearean play, "A Midsummer Night’s Dream"…who knew 11 year olds could act – nice job Kristen who played Lysander, a handsome man. This was part of Kristen’s challenge program that she attends once a week.
I have been teaching piano lessons to my 13 year old neighbor who loves to practice and is progressing nicely. It’s been a lot of fun for me too.
We are currently getting our gardening beds prepared for planting later this spring. Yesterday we worked on building a small berm (about 4 inches high) with packed dirt and then capped with concrete, in hopes that it will keep the neighbor’s over-watering out of our garden area – our lot is on lower ground. So yes, we have sore muscles.
Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Happy Spring! Happy Easter!
Until next time,
Love, Jennifer & Steve
