Hello Lindgrenites!

Aloha from Seattle and happy summer to all of you! Hopefully you're all enjoying some easy-breezy time in the sun, or at least experiencing a bit of warmth in your neck of the woods.

The last couple of months have been a busy time for the Gilberts. Finn ended school but has already attended one week of summer day camp (3 hours a day) and a week of drama day camp--so least to say he's keeping busy. He also just finished up soccer and T-ball practice in June, ending with an exciting Mariner's baseball game on Father's Day--and the Mariner's actually won! And for as boring as baseball games can be, Finn stuck it out for most of the game.

Harper is talking up a storm and enjoys wrestle mania with Finn and Daddy, having bubbles blown in the backyard, reading a ton of books, and getting into trouble at every chance she gets. Her hair's getting longer and she's gearing up to being a gymnast or a stuntwoman or something physical like that. She's a handful but she sure is fun!

I started a new role at work and have started taking on the movie programming for XBOX Live for the U.S., Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and Mexico (up from just programming for AUZ). So least to say my job has gotten ridiculously busier, but the days go by faster and I get to do some pretty cool stuff for work, like watching movies. Can't beat that!

Angela started leading a PEPS group for new moms of babies starting around 6 weeks old, spreading her wide wealth of knowledge about all things babies to others in the community. She's also keeping herself and the kids busy with tons of activities during the week, ensuring that there's never a dull moment and always an opportunity to learn something new.

We're really looking forward to our week-long camping trip / family reunion in a few weeks--we're getting ourselves ready by getting in weekly hikes and a few camp trips. Once we hit Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons, we'll all be seasoned pros!
