Life continues to be
full of cheese and whine for this family. As in, mom and dad are in love and
the kids behave like typical children!
Major life events from
the recent past:
Jason is settling into
his new job at Ryan LLC. We are thankful he was able to find a good job after
graduation. Nothing more to report there.
Katherine was baptized
at the beginning of May. It is amazing to see how much she has grown and what
an intelligent, creative, funny girl she is and to see her beginning to choose
her own path in life.
Our baby, Benjamin
turned one at the end of June, entering into the next stage of life: new teeth,
cruising along the furniture, getting into things we didn't think he could
reach, climbing up the stairs and basically keeping mom and dad on their toes!
Six months was a little
longer than we had hoped for, but we finally sold our house in Hyde Park,
closing on June 29th after some minor headaches. So we are now happy to be
homeless, still living in Becky's parent's basement. The kids love being close
to family and her parents are still tolerating our loud and crazy brood.
Katherine and David feel especially lucky since living in West Jordan means
they can take piano lessons from Grandma Tomlinson!
Our next amazing feat
will be to answer these life-changing questions: WHO unrolled all the toilet
paper again? WHAT did the baby put in his mouth? WHERE should we buy a new
house? WHEN should we start looking for said house? WHY would we want to move
when we've got it so good, with live-in babysitters? HOW many Lindgrens does it
take to screw in a light bulb?
Tune in next time for a
continuation of our adventures and to (hopefully) discover the answers to these
perplexing questions!
Lots of love and may you
have more cheese than whine!
Jason and Becky Tomlinson
